ChildCARE Plus in Ghana

ERDO's ChildCARE Plus program partner in Ghana is the King Jesus Charity Home under the leadership of Pastor Kofi.  There are over 300 children that live in the home.  The majority of these children have been orphaned and abandoned. The children are often brought to the home by the police or social services. Pastor Khofi and his staff then try to locate parents but most of the time the children are without family connections.  The ChildCARE Plus program offers support to these children to meet their physical, educational and spiritual needs.

Community Development

In Northern Ghana, where clean water is not easily accessible, ERDO created a borewell in 2009 to bring clean fresh water to a community north of Tamale.  The funds for this borewell were provided by Canadian youth participating in the Life campaign.
