ChildCARE Plus in India

ChildCARE Plus in India

ERDO works through Global Workers, Dawn & Prasad Samson in Chennai, Frank Juelich in Nagpur and partners Assemblies of God in Kolkata to reach over 1,500 children in India.  These are programs that assist orphaned and vulnerable children. In Nagpur children live in a residential setting.

Through a $37 a month donation, a child can attend school, have access to nutritious food and healthcare and be spiritually nurtured by our on-the-ground ChildCARE Plus community representatives.

Crisis response in India

Crisis Response in India

In 2011, ERDO responded to the needs of families affected by a slum fire.  Families who had lost all of their bedding, cooking pots and food were assisted with household items and food supplies.

In times of emergency, relief supplies can include things like:

  • locally accessed and appropriate food relief
  • child safety
  • water
  • shelter
  • sanitation
  • household needs
  • livelihood protection
