Thank You for A Great Year!

As 2025 comes to an end, I want to personally thank you for the incredible difference you’ve made this year. Through your prayers, your generous gifts, and by sharing ERDO’s mission with others, you helped us reach an estimated 286,556 people — each one a life changed by your compassion.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “Let us not grow weary in doing good…” Your steadfast support helps us live out this calling every day, even as global challenges grow more complex.

According to the Humanitarian Response Network Political Analysis 2025, the number of people requiring humanitarian assistance has risen from 218 million in 2001 to 305 million today — driven by conflict and climate-related emergencies. Yet, amid these staggering needs, your generosity has created hope.

Inspired by Christ’s compassion and fueled by your partnership, ERDO served in 40 countries through 106 projects in 2025. Our team remains deeply committed to stewarding every dollar with excellence and integrity to maximize Kingdom impact.

Your Gifts Delivered Hope!

Here are just a few ways donors like you delivered hope this year through your gifts of support:

  • Provided life-saving food aid to Myanmar earthquake victims and conflict zones in Sudan, Yemen, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ukraine.
  • Ensured access to clean water for families in Bangladesh and Honduras.
  • Expanded healthcare services in Northern Kenya, improving care for children and adults.

On my trips to oversee our programs, I am face-to-face with people who praise God for you and other Canadians who have come alongside them. Please hear their thanks from me.

Looking ahead to 2026, we anticipate a continued focus on hunger relief and support for communities affected by conflict and natural disasters. For example, in Yemen alone, 18.1 million people are expected to face major food insecurity, requiring emergency food support to survive. Also, recovery efforts from disasters like Hurricane Melissa will extend well into the new year as families rebuild their lives.

As a valued member of the ERDO family, I invite you to continue walking with us. A year-end gift today will help us respond immediately to urgent crises — and also sustain long-term development and child-focused programs which often go unseen but are deeply transformative.

Thank you again for being a beacon of hope. Your support is changing lives — and together, we are bringing light into the darkest places.

With heartfelt gratitude, and prayers for a blessed Christmas,

Daniel Lepojarvi, CEO
