Barkwende is a kind boy who lives with his parents and siblings in a very poor village of Burkina Faso. His mother stays at home to look after the house and kids, while his father works as a farmer. Sadly, with little rain the last few years, he's struggled to make a reliable income.
Barkwende is a very shy child who enjoys playing soccer with his friends. His favourite subject in school is French and his favourite colour is red. He likes learning about the Bible, and his favorite verse is John 14:6. Barkwende plans on becoming a doctor when he grows up.
