Darius is an active little boy who lives with his aunt near Nairobi, Kenya. Darius’s parents do their best to provide for their children, but his aunt has been unable to secure consistent work. Despite her efforts, Darius’s aunt is unable to meet their family’s basic needs. Life is an ongoing struggle for Darius and his family.
Many children living in this area cannot attend school because the public schools charge fees that most families struggle to afford. Through ChildCARE Plus sponsorship, however, Darius will be able to join the Overcomers Caring Centre where he will be able to continue his education, and pursue his dream of becoming a teacher. Darius enjoys English class in school and in his free time, he likes to run. His favourite Bible stories are about Moses’ life and his favourite colour is blue.
