Nitisha is a quiet young girl who lives with her parents and siblings in India. Nitisha’s parents work hard as farm labourers, but they are unable to earn enough money to provide for the basic needs of his family. The family lives in very poor conditions, and Nitisha’s parents cannot afford to send her to school.
Access to education is a major challenge in India and many children continue to be deprived and are forced to work as child labourers. Through ChildCARE Plus, however, Nitisha will have the opportunity to receive a quality education and continue her studies in grade 6. Nitisha enjoys learning Math, and she hopes to be a doctor one day! She helps her mother at home, and in her free time, Nitisha likes to play games. Her favourite Bible story is about Adam and Eve, and her favourite colour is red.
