Salina is an outgoing young girl who lives with her parents, sister and brother in India. Salina’s parents work hard as farm labourers, but they are unable to earn enough money to provide for the basic needs of their family. The family lives in very poor conditions, and Salina’s parents cannot afford to send her to school.
Salina enjoys learning Hindi in school, and hopes to be a nurse some day! When she isn’t in school or helping her mother around the home, Salina likes to play games with her friends. Salina’s favourite Bible story is about Daniel in the lion’s den and pink is her favourite colour.
