Sandip is a clever young boy who lives with his parents in a humble home in Bangladesh. Sadly, there is a high rate of adult illiteracy in this area. His father is a farmer, and his mother cares for the home and their child. Despite their efforts, Sandip's parents are unable to provide for their child's basic needs. Sandip is a curious boy who enjoys learning the Bangla language. When not in school or helping his mother with the house chores, Sandip likes to read storybooks. His favourite Bible story is about Lazarus, and white is his favourite colour. Sandip is an ambitious child who dreams of becoming a police officer one day.
