Vearak is a sweet young boy who lives with his grandparents, his two brothers, and extended family in a very poor community in Cambodia. His parents do not live in the home as they moved to another city to find work. His grandfather works hard to support the family, but despite his best efforts, he is unable to adequately meet their needs. Life for this family is an ongoing struggle.
Vearak loves playing soccer with his friends. He likes to read Bible stories, and in particular, likes the account of Moses’s life. His favourite colour is blue, and when he grows up, he would like to become a teacher.
