Partnering for Clean Water

I love to paint, but most of all, I love people. In 2022, my influence grew on social media, and it led me to evaluate how I was going to use this new platform.
Proverbs 31:8 says, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.”
I want to be the voice for those who do not have one.
For instance, something as simple as water is a necessity many people can’t access. In October of 2023, I set out to North Pointe Community Church and asked if I could put on a Paint Night where all the proceeds would go to building wells in Zimbabwe. We raised $4,550 that night! I want to raise awareness and fight for those who can’t fight. Together we can make a difference!

In Honduras, vulnerable families do not have the means to buy purified water. Instead, they purchase water from the tanker trucks that drive throughout the communities. Although this is a cheaper alternative, this water is not purified and often causes illness.
Working with Schools of Hope, we install biosand water filters in homes and schools. By receiving a water filter, families see their quality of life drastically improve! They can stay hydrated under the warm Honduran sun without worrying about their loved ones getting sick.
Our local partners visit each home, showing them how to maintain the filters and sharing with them the living waters of the gospel.
Since 2017, we have installed more than 1,100 water filters in poor urban areas, but the needs are still great. Join us as we bring safe, clean water to families in Honduras, restoring their health, hope and dignity.
