El Hadji lives with his mother, father, and his nine sisters in Guinea. His father is a local vendor, and his mother takes care of the home. His parents do their best to provide for the family, but despite their best efforts, they are unable to provide for all of their basic needs.
El Hadji is a very outgoing child who enjoys playing soccer with his friends. His favourite subject in school is French, and his favourite colour is blue. He likes to learn Bible stories, and likes the account of Lazarus the best. He would like to become a doctor one day.
