Your 2025 Impact

In 2025, we implemented 105 projects in 40 countries, helping 288,426 people change their lives.

However, it has also been a year of increasing fragility. Acute food insecurity has grown since the COVID-19 pandemic, rising to some 318 million people. 59 state-based conflicts were recorded in 2025 and we know conflict remains the single greatest driver of humanitarian need in our world. At the same time, global humanitarian funding has fallen — from $25.2 billion in 2024 to $18.6 billion in 2025. Malnutrition treatment centres, health clinics, schools, protection services, and support for displaced people are being defunded around the world.

There is a concerning global sentiment: take care of yourself first. Don’t worry about the needs of the world.

But justice and righteousness are at the heart of the Gospel. Through ERDO’s international partners, we actively pursue biblical justice by bringing food to the hungry, shelter to people who have lost their homes,
clean water to families with no access, and education to children for a brighter future. We work with the vulnerable every day — with women who have little opportunity to earn their own living, with the elderly
who need practical care, and with people with disabilities who face hunger and desperate loneliness.

Caring for the poor may not be the priority of the world but it is the responsibility of the Church. ERDO’s work through our global church partners is a testimony of what God’s love looks like in practical forms.
