Gidelande lives with her aunt, uncle, two sisters, three brothers and her cousins in a small one-room house in Port-au-Prince. Her parents lives in the country side. They struggles to provide for the family’s basic needs.
Gidelande is a friendly child who enjoys skipping with her friends. At home she helps by washing the dishes. Her favorite subject in school is French, and her favorite colour is while. When she grows up, she would like to become a doctor.
