Ly-Ing is a sweet young boy who lives with his grandparents and cousins in a very poor community in Cambodia. Sadly, his mother passed away when he was born and his father abandoned them. His grandparents work hard to support the family, but despite their best efforts, they are unable to adequately provide for their daily needs.
Ly-Ing is a very gentle and friendly child who loves playing games with his friends and with his toys. He is also a very helpful child who is always willing to do his chores. His favourite subject in school is Khmer language studies, and his favourite colour is red. When he grows up, he plans on becoming an engineer.
