Omar is a sweet boy who lives with his mother and his two brothers in a very poor village in Burkina Faso. His father passed away, leaving his mother with no way to support herself and the children. She does what she can but despite her efforts, she struggles greatly to meet even their most basic of needs.
Omar is a very active child who enjoys playing soccer with his friends. His favourite subject in school is reading and his favourite colour is black. He likes learning Bible stories. Omar plans on becoming a doctor when he grows up.
